A variety of hands on manual physical therapy techniques will be used to loosen and elongate restricted or tight soft tissues and joints. This will provide both pain relief and greater freedom of movement.
Dry needling is a specific technique utilized to release painful muscle knots called trigger points. These knots are often deep and difficult to release with massage or foam rolling. A thin filiform (accupuncture) needle is used to penetrate your skin and muscle. The needle causes a direct reaction to the localized knot by increasing blood flow and oxygen while releasing toxins. You will notice less pain and improved range of motion.
